Four defenders against five attackers in a 25 m channel, so the attack has an overlap from the start. The defence comes up square, then slides outward on each pass, every defender handing their attacker to the one inside and taking the next attacker out. The outside defender shows the last attacker the touchline. Coach the talk (“mine”, “drift”) and the connection: nobody overtakes the defender inside them, and nobody hangs back. Pair it with Blitz Defence to show the two systems side by side.
